Enable repeating jobs
Go to Settings > General and tick the option to enable them.
Setup your repeating jobs
A new tab will appear under 'Jobs' called Repeating jobs.
Choose New repeating job
Name your job, choose a template, creation time and make sure its enabled (if required now)
Start adding your rules by clicking Add Rule and then (Start and end dates, frequency, excluding this and that etc)
As you add them, the calendar view will show you the repeating dates so you can manage future workloads.
You can then choose to add assets to your repeating jobs.
Every asset you add will get jobs generated for it on the calendar schedule above This allows you to have one schedule set up for many assets.
Just search for your asset and enter to add it, then you can add details like duration, planned start or offset.
You can even add existing assets in bulk with the 'Bulk Add' button.
|With adding existing assets in bulk via a csv, we recommend you add one asset manually, then export the CSV to use as a template to add the additional assets in bulk. We match on the asset ID, so this is the only column required, although you may wish to bulk add start times and offset values too. We have attached a csv template file to this article (located at the bottom of the page).|
You can even add an 'Offset' in days to each asset. This allows you to add many assets to one repeating schedule, with the flexibility to step the schedule forward one or more days for each asset that you add. (see the graphic below)
With asset offset shown above, you can use one repeating job schedule for many many assets, just stepping the schedule forward one or more days at a time.
