Mobile workers using the vWork mobile app can see the customer details for jobs assigned to them. This information is read-only and can’t be updated through the mobile app.

Linked customer information
From the customer information in either version of the mobile app you can:
- Tap the customer’s mobile phone number to make a phone call or send an sms message to a customer.
- Tap the address to open the map and view the customer’s address.
Note: this won’t work if the customer’s address is not geocoded in their customer profile that is saved in vWork.
View customer information in the Android mobile app
- From the Jobs screen tap the job to open the job’s Details screen.
- In the Details screen the customer’s name shows at the top. Tap the 🛈 next to the customer’s name to open a detailed view of the customer’s information.
- The customer’s information pops up in a window on the screen. Tap Done to close the pop-up window after viewing the customer’s information.
- The customer's details can also be opened by tapping the customer information field in the job Details.
View customer information in the iOS mobile app
- From the Jobs screen tap the job to open the job’s Details screen.
- In the Details screen the customer’s name shows as the first piece of information after the black banner. Tap this to open a detailed view of the customer’s information.
- The customer’s information shows on the screen. Tap Job in the red banner to return to the Job information after viewing the customer’s information.
