Bulk Imported Customers Not Appearing on the Map?

By default, bulk imported customers are not "geo-located". Geo-location is the process of converting a street address to a point on a map.

You will need to geocode customers' addresses in order for them to appear on the map.

There are two ways to geo-locate bulk imported customers, they are:

1.  you can include a Latitude and Longitude in the data that you bulk import. If this data is included, then vWorkApp will be able to plot customer locations on the map. There are three columns that need to be filled in as follows:

delivery_contact_formatted_address
12 Smith St, Christchurch, New Zealand
delivery_contact_lat
-43.5442084
delivery_contact_lng
172.671679

2.  If you do not know the latitude and longitude of your customer addresses, you can import them without the required co-ordinates as follows:

delivery_contact_formatted_address
12 Smith St, Christchurch, New Zealand

In this case, the customer will be created with an address, but not plotted on a map. You can then edit each customer in vWorkApp, click on the address and choose one of the suggested locations.
