Running Reports

What are vWork's reports?

vWork provides a range of standard reports that will provide you with information on jobs, workers, customers etc.
Including a custom report option.

You can also save your most common or custom reports as favourites.

Why use vWork's reports?

If you are just wanting standard reports that give you a summary of the basic information, then you can use our standard reports or create a customized one that goes into more detail.

vWork currently has eight reports that you can run:

  • Worker Activity
  • Customer Activity
  • Job Status
  • Job Sheets
  • Job Invoices
  • Job Quotes
  • Custom Report
  • CSV Export

Worker Activity - Shows a basic report of all the jobs a worker has done in a given time period

Customer Activity - Shows a basic report of all the jobs a customer in a given time period

Job Status - Gives you all information about a job such as when a job was started, when it was completed and all information capture in the custom fields.

Job Sheets - Print out job sheets for your workers if they do not have a smartphone. The Job Sheet includes all the information they will need to successfully complete a job. ( Shows published jobs that have not been started)

Job Invoices - Shows you all the job that have invoice stubs attached to them

Custom Report - This is the same as the Job Status report - but allows you to filter the information contained in the report

CSV Export - Exports all your completed job information in a format that is readable by Microsoft Excel (CSV). You can use this report for generating files to export to other systems. You have complete control over the reporting, you can run reports broken down by date, by worker and by customer.  All reports are downloaded as a comma separated values (CSV) text file.

For the CSV export you can import CSV files into a number of different programs including:

•    Microsoft Excel

•    Apple Numbers

•    Google Spreadsheets

•    Open Office Calc

 

How to run a report

1. Select Reports from the menu.

2. On the 'Run Now' tab choose the Report Type

3. Select all the other applicable information such as date range, template, status, workers etc.
    Please note, date range is always based of the jobs 'planned start time'.

4. Select Generate.
 

After you have generated the report you can do the following

  1. Print
  2. Email it to someone 
  3. Download it as a PDF
  4. Download it as a CSV
  5. Add it as a Favourite
