Each vWork account has a default time zone automtically set to main time zone used in your organization. You may have dispatchers and workers who work in a different under a different time zone, e.g., if they are in another region or state.  You can manage users working in different time zones using the 'Groups' feature.

Change the default time zone

If you need to adjust the default time zone for your entire vWork account, you do this in your vWork General Settings. 

To change the default time zone:

1. Go to Settings > General.
   
   
2. Click in the Time Zone drop down list and select your preferred default time zone from the options listed.
   
   
3. Click to save the new default time zone setting.

Set a Group time zone

If you have workers in a different time zone to the default time zone saved in vWork's General Settings, you can manage these workers and their jobs by creating a Group for them that is assigned a different time zone. Group time zones override the default time zone for all users and jobs assigned to that Group. 

Groups are set up and managed in the User Settings.

To set time zone for a Group:

1. Go to Settings > Users > Groups
   
   
   
   
2. Click to add a new Group, or click to select an existing a Group to edit that Group's settings.
   
   
3. In the Group's settings, click in the Time Zone drop down list and select correct time zone to apply to this Group from the options listed.
   
   
4. We you are done editing the Group's settings click either or to save the Group's settings.
   
   

💡 Tip: The saved time zone is always displayed for workers in this group; e.g, If a dispatcher has the vWork default time zone set to AEST and schedules a job for 10 am, this displays as 9:30 am for workers in a Group that has ACST set as the Group's time zone.
