What are project job dependencies ?
When you setup a Project you can choose to allow some project jobs to only be started if other project jobs are complete. We call this job dependency.
For example, in a building project the insulation must be installed before the drywall or gib board, so you would set the drywall job to be dependent on the insulation job being complete.
How do I setup dependent jobs ?
You set this up in the project template, or in an individual project as shown above in the 'sub jobs' section.
For the project template, go to Settings > Templates > Projects
For an individual project, just go to the projects tab, then edit your project, as shown below.
What does this look like for the worker ?
When a worker has a job that cannot be started due to a dependency, they will see the notifications explaining this , as shown below.
