'Accept and Decline Jobs' is a General setting in your vWork account. It can be enabled and disabled by your vWork Administrator.
When enabled, this setting asks you to accept or decline a job published on your vWork mobile app. When you 'Accept' a job it is fully assigned to you and is added to your jobs list on the Jobs screen at its scheduled start time. When you 'Decline' a job it is removed from your jobs list and can be reassigned to another worker by your dispatcher.

Accept a Job
Jobs show as 'Pending' on your Jobs screen when you need to 'Accept' or 'Decline' them.
A job is not assigned to you until you 'Accept' it.
When you 'Accept' a job it's status updates to 'Assigned' and it becomes assigned to you on your jobs list.
To accept a job:
- Tap to open the job's 'Details' from the Jobs screen.
- When the job opens in the Details screen, you see an 'Accept' button and a 'Decline' button.
To 'Accept' the job, tap . - The job is accepted and the 'Details' screen updates. The 'Accept' and 'Decline' buttons no longer show and the status pie chart updates to show the job as assigned .
Decline a job
When you decline a pending job it is removed from your jobs list. You dispatcher sees it as 'Declined' on the Schedule and in the Jobs tab.
To 'Decline' a job:
- Tap to open the job's 'Details' from the Jobs screen.
- When the job opens in the Details screen, you see an 'Accept' button and a 'Decline' button.
To 'Decline' the job, tap . - You are presented with a list of reasons explaining why you are declining the job.
Tap to select the best reason. - The dispatcher sees the reason why the job is 'Declined' and the job is removed from your jobs list.
