'Accept and Decline Jobs' is a setting in your vWork account that can be turned on or off by your vWork Administrator. This setting enables you to choose to accept or decline a job published on your vWork mobile app. When you 'Accept' a job it is fully assigned to you and is added to your jobs list on the Jobs screen at its scheduled start time. When you 'Decline' a job it is removed from your jobs list and can be reassigned to another worker by your dispatcher.

Accept or Decline from the Jobs screen
When a new job is published on your mobile app it shows a Decline Job option and an Accept Job option with the job in the Jobs list.
Accept a job
To accept a job from the Jobs screen:
- Tap
to add it to your Jobs list in the Jobs screen.
Decline a job
To decline a job from the Jobs list:
- Tap
to open a list of reasons that you are declining the job.
- Tap to select a reason from the options displayed.
- The job is removed from the Jobs screen. The dispatcher sees the job with a status of Declined and the reason the job is declined shows in the label from the job on the dispatcher's Schedule.
Accept or Decline from the job's Details screen
The Details screen provides another place where you can accept or decline a job. It shows more information specific to the job so that you can make a more informed decision before you accept or decline.
To open the Details screen and accept or decline a job:
- Tap a job in the Jobs screen to open the job's Details screen.
- From the details screen, tap the corresponding button to Accept or Decline the job.
If you choose Decline select a reason for decline from the list of options.
The dispatcher is notified with the reason you have selected and the job is removed from your Jobs screen.
