What Can Trigger an Alert?

There are a number of events that you can select to trigger (send) an alert.
These broadly fall into 7 different categories. 

Job Creation Alerts

Job Created  - Will alert you when a new job is created, regardless of who created it.

Job Created by Customer - Will only alert you if a customer creates a new job via the customer portal.

Job Created by Worker - Will only alert you if a worker creates a new job from their mobile device.

Job Created and not Completed in Time - this will alert you based on a jobs allocated start time being overdue my the number of minutes you select.

Job Created by Portal User - This will alert when a new job is created in the customer portal, based on your set filters.

 

Job Allocation Alerts

Job Assigned - Will alert you when a job is assigned to a worker. Also includes an option to include a link in the alert email allowing customers to re-schedule the job. If this option is selected the alert can only be sent to a customer contact. You can find more information on customer postponements here.

Job Accepted - Will alert you when a worker accepts a job. Also includes an option to include a link in the alert email allowing customers to re-schedule the job. If this option is selected the alert can only be sent to a customer contact. You can find more information on customer postponements here.

Job Declined - Will alert you when a worker declines a job.

 

Job Scheduling Alerts

Job Start Reminder - This alert allows you to send a reminder a number of hours before a job is due to start. Also includes an option to include a link in the alert email allowing customers to re-schedule the job. If this option is selected the alert can only be sent to a customer contact. You can find more information on customer postponements here.

Job Rescheduled by Worker - Will alert you if a worker reschedules a job from their mobile device.

Estimated Time of Arrival - The ETA alert allows you to send an alert that contains the worker’s ETA based on their current location and the step address.  You can find more information on the ETA Alert here.

Job Overdue - This trigger allows you to send an alert when a job has not started on time. You can customise the number of minutes that are allowed to pass before sending the alert.

 

Job Completion Alerts

Step Completed - You can send an alert when a specific step is completed.

Custom Field Updated - You can send an alert when a specific custom field is updated.

Signature Received - You can send an alert when a signature is added to a job.

Job Paused Too Long -  This trigger allows you to send an alert if a job has been paused for more than a certain number of minutes.

Job Completed - Send an alert when a job has been completed. You can also set this to fire X minutes after the job completion. This allows you to send customer experience surveys or similar.

Health & Safety Alerts

User Tags Expires in - Send an alert when a health & Safety tag is due to expire in x days.

Health & Safety Event Created - Send an alert when a new H & S event is created

Significant Hazard Created - Send an alert when a H & S hazard marked as 'significant', is created.

Unmitigated Hazard Created - Send an alert when a H & S hazard with Practicable to Eliminate, Practicable to Isolate and All Practicable Steps to Minimize set to no, is created.

Quote Alerts

Quote Completed - Send an alert when a quote has been completed.

Quote Approved by Customer - Send an alert when a quote is approved by a customer.

Quote Declined by Customer - Send an alert when a quote is approved by a customer.

Quote Expires Soon - Send an alert when a quote is about to expire. You can select 1, 5, or 30 days before expiry.

Quote Expired - Send an alert when a quote expires.

 

Misc Alerts

Worker off Shift too Long - Send an alert when a worker has not been on shift for X hours/minutes or days. (when using vWork shift on/off)

Portal User Signup - Send an alert when your account has a new customer portal user sign up.
